Complete custom framing and design
Our designs have brought people from far and wide, again and again,
to use the many services of Queenstown Gallery.
ALL WORK IS DONE ON PREMISES.
Custom Picture Framing
Over the years, the Queenstown Gallery has assembled an extensive and varied selection of molding styles, and mat colors and textures to meet the demands of our many customers. All work is done with 100% acid free materials and is completed using conservation and preservation practices.
Moldings
We offer hundreds of wood frames from the inexpensive standards to real gold leaf profiles, from American primitives to modern contemporary styles, and from thin hardwood box frames to 4” wide ornate gold. We also carry a complete line of Nielsen metal frames.
Matting
The Gallery offers a complete line of “acid-free” conservation mat and backing materials. With over a hundred colors, textures and fabrics to choose from, the possibilities are nearly unlimited. In addition, we can create beautiful “French” mats.
The key to correct framing technique is proper mounting of your piece. Reversibility is the standard by which we perform our work which means that anything we do today can be undone and/or redone in the future. Our procedures are completed to strict archival quality. This includes fine art and photography, antique prints and maps, as well as your cherished family heirlooms.
Needlework
For many years, people have traveled from all over the area for our innovative and careful approach to the proper framing of needlework and fabric art. Whether it is your latest masterpiece or that of your great-grandmother, we can suggest the safest and most beautiful way to frame and display it with pride.
Shadowbox Framing
Over the years, customers have brought many unusual objects to Queenstown Gallery for framing. We have fabricated wall displays for such things as dolls, dresses, masks, baseballs, Olympic medals, arrowheads and army memorabilia. We offer a variety of deep shadowbox moldings and rich fabrics to safely display your three-dimensional treasures.
